Yes Andy Moran was influential in Ballaghdereen’s victory but he was awarded two frees which were clearly not frees. Tough on Balla that referring decisions cost them senior status.

Balla couldn’t score all year from what I saw. They should have beaten Mayo Gaels by 20 points. Five points up with seven mins remaining the last day. They have nobody to blame but themselves.

Were you at the game yew_tree?
What has the Mayo Gaels game got to do with it. The Ballaghdereen game was a stand alone game. The ref did Balla with soft frees.Full stop.

i didnt realise Moygownagh had changed their name to X and that Ballycroy was now known as Y.

Mayoforever - No but I talked to neutrals who were. You stated the referee decisions cost balla their senior status…I’m making the point from previous balla games I seen v Garrymore and Gaels that they have nobody to blame but themselves for missing shocking chances. I’ve no skin in the game I’m a neutral and just calling it as I saw it.
