There’s another full-on weekend of action involving Mayo teams coming up, with the men’s and women’s footballers as well as the county’s hurlers all at home in their respective leagues. In addition, the four Mayo schools who recently won Connacht titles are all contesting their respective All-Ireland semi-finals.

The schools matches all take place on Saturday and the details on them are as follows:

Senior A: St Gerald’s Castlebar v Tralee CBS, TUS Midwest Campus, 12.30pm

Senior B: St Nathy’s Ballaghaderreen v Mount Saint Michael Rosscarbery, UL South Campus, 2pm

Senior C: Balla Secondary School v Carrigaline Secondary School, Clarecastle, 4pm

Senior D: St Brendan’s Belmullet v Rice College Ennis, Connacht CoE, 2.30pm

The hurlers are also playing on Saturday. They welcome Meath to Adrian Freeman Park in Tooreen for their NHL Division 2 Round 5 clash, which throws in at 2pm. The ticket link for it is here.

On Sunday the men are in action first. Their NFL Division One Round 5 match against Armagh gets underway at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park at 1.15pm. The ticket link for it is here.

The women, meanwhile, entertain Donegal in an NFL Division Two Round 5 clash at Swinford Amenity Park where throw-in is 2pm. Cavan lead the table going into this weekend, followed by Donegal and Mayo in that order so a win on Sunday for Diane O’Hora’s team would provide a huge boost to their hopes of promotion back to Division One. The ticket for the game is here and the link for the live stream is here.

The best of luck to all the teams from the county who are in action this weekend.
