Liam OG Horkan had to be in the TOTY. Was the driving force behind Garrymore and seems to be a born centre back.
Anyone know what age he is?
Andy should be taking a look.

@John, there's a competition there for us, naming the 4 semi finalists is challenging

@Clubman51: 25 (since January). He played county minor in '18 (the 1st year it switched to u17). Serious consistency from him the last couple of years, but seems to have pushed it on another level completely this year.
The concerns or fears against him for inclusion would usually have been potentially lacking that yard of pace for county ball, but in that aggressive press where positioning plays such a vital roll he's not putting a foot wrong to ever really need the recover pace, is getting huge tackles or turnovers in on transitions where it could be a factor & even seems to be burning a fair few lads who wouldn't be thought to lack a yard when heading the other direction.
A different test coming with Cross' running power, but a brave man to bet against him & the team passing that test too and putting in a serious performance.

Been to 4 Senior club games last weekend....
Few exceptional performances....
Definitely Liam Og Horkan stood out...
He was the best player on pitch in Hollymount for about 40 minutes when maybe fatiguebecame a factor......
Assured, calm and measured in his reading of the game.....
Tom O' Flaherty for Aghamore also excellent throughout.....

Just on next season and how Mayo go about going for a 2 in a row and its going to be very hard , but as Andy said we need to get abit greedy now not settle on one look at Limerick hurlers and John Kiely, if you look at the last 2 teams to go back to back in football were Dublin 15 to 21 and Kerry 06 and 07.
First Gavin and Farrell made changes to every starting 15 from every All Ireland Final from 2015 to 2021.
Kerry changed there manager from Jack O'Connor in 06 to Pat O'Shea in 07 and had 5 different starters in 2007 starting 15 , members of that team spoke how that change was vital as players had to prove themselves all over again to Pat.Bar the injection of maybe 2 or 3 players one replacement for Kobe , I think we might need a new addition in management team, maybe someone like Stephen O'Neill who was with Cavan and Tyrone Under 20s as a forwards coach as still shooting could do with work.

As always thank you TsuDhoNim
If he may lack a yard he wouldn’t be alone as a conventional number 6:
Mike Breen, Tadgh Morley, John Small, John Daly all weren’t blessed with pace.
Would like to see him get in there and we can see what hes like with better players around him.
