It was a weekend of contrasting fortunes for Mayo’s representatives in the Connacht club championships.
Ballina Stephenites bowed out against St Brigid’s but Kilmeena marched confidently into the provincial Intermediate final. Kiltimagh are also preparing for a Connacht decider after winning a penalty shoot-out in the Junior semi-final.
Former Sligo forward Gerry McGowan joins Mike to reflect on Ballina’s exit and we hear from Stephenites’ captain Evan Regan. Mike also chats with Aidan Kilcoyne about Kilmeena’s win and Liam Moore talks about his team’s latest victory.
