The second round of group stage action is over in this year’s Senior and Intermediate club championships and here at the Mayo Football Podcast, the new home of the Club Stars, we’ve got two more Teams of the Week.

Starting with Senior, a total of ten clubs are represented in our latest Team of the Week. Ballaghaderreen, Ballyhaunis, Ballina Stephenites, Breaffy, Garrymore and Knockmore all have two players each on this week’s selection, with Aghamore, Castlebar Mitchels and Westport picking up one each. Pete Warren of Ballyhaunis – whose charges pulled off a dramatic win over Charlestown at the weekend – is the Senior Manager of the Week.

Ten clubs are also represented in our latest Intermediate Team of the Week. Moy Davitts lead the way with three players on the team, Hollymount/Carramore, Islandeady and Kiltane have two players each, while Ballinrobe, Castlebar Mitchels B, Crossmolina, Davitts, Louisburgh and The Neale all have one representative on the team. The Intermediate Manager of the Week is Pakie Sweeney from Kiltane.

So those are our picks from the second round of the Senior and Intermediate club championships. Let us know in the comments what you think of our two Team of the Week selections.
