Earlier on today we named our match day panel for Sunday’s LGFA National League Division One clash with All-Ireland champions Kerry. Throw-in on Sunday at the Swinford Amenity Park is 2.30pm and here are the team and subs we’ve named for the game:

Mayo (LGFA NFL Division One v Kerry, 2/3/2025): Julia Gawalkiewicz (Charlestown); Lucy Wallace (Burrishoole), Nicola O’Malley (Westport), Ella Brennan (Charlestown); Danielle Caldwell (Castlebar Mitchels, captain), Jenna Mortimer (Hollymount), Saoirse Lally (Westport); Erin Murray (Ballyhaunis), Hannah Reape (Knockmore); Ciara Whyte (Kilmoremoy), Chelsea Doherty (Charlestown), Riona Jordan (Balla); Kayla Doherty (MacHale Rovers), Bree Hession (Claremorris), Maria Cannon (Burrishoole). Subs: Charlie Reilly Benson (MacHale Rovers), Niamh Mooney (Aghamore), Sherin El Massry (Westport), Grainne Gavin (Louisburgh), Aisling Flanagan (Breaffy), Lynda Hanley (Kilmovee Shamrocks), Siomha McNulty (Claremorris), Laura Walsh (Parke), Ciara Durkan (Knockmore), Suzanne Touhy (Castlebar Mitchels), Saoirse Delaney (Aghamore), Annie Gough (MacHale Rovers), Sarah Carney (Moy Davitts), Clodagh Keane (Knockmore), Alannah Devereux (The Neale).

So it’s five changes from the team that lined out against Armagh last time out. Into the starting fifteen for Sunday come Nicola O’Malley, Erin Murray, Ciara Whyte, Chelsea Doherty and Riona Jordan, while out go Aoife Geraghty, Annie Gough, Milly Sheridan, Sinéad walsh and Clodagh Keane.

I’m not sure how many of these changes are enforced but I do know the squad is beset with injuries at the minute so you’d have to think that some of them must be.

The match on Sunday is being streamed live by the LGFA (link here) and the ticket link for it is here. We’ll have a Final Whistle pod for our Patreon club members after the game.

The best of luck to the team on Sunday.
