There’s been some criticism – rightly – voiced here about the lack of live streaming coverage by Mayo GAA TV of any this weekend’s Junior Championship quarter-final ties. These are the only club matches on within the county this weekend and the failure to give a least some of them the Mayo GAA TV treatment is obviously a missed opportunity to promote this grade.
If brickbats are being dished out in relation to the promotion (or lack of it) of these fixtures, however, it’s only right that I take my medicine in this regard too, for my not having posted the relevant time and venue details for the games. In my defence I could plead that I’ve been out of the country for the past week (which I have been) but, of course, I had the laptop with me and ready access to WiFi while away. I did, though, also have some sights to see as well.
Anyway, better late than never. Here are fixture details of the Junior Championship matches on this weekend, along with ticket links for each of the games.

There’s been plenty of coverage of the upcoming Junior action over on the Mayo Football Podcast this week, of course, where we had a specific show devoted to it. Rob and Mike were joined by John Reilly for this podcast episode, which is available to club members on Patreon. A freebie taster of this show is now also available on all platforms and you can listen to this here on the blog using the SoundCloud player below.

If you had a break away you deserve it. We all need to get off the treadmill every so often .
The content here has been amazing in every way since I started watching it about twelve years ago.
Fair play to yourself for that. Part of my weekly diet. I have a particular interest in Eastern Gaels to
see how they will go on. My other half hails from those parts ,and I used to `nag her ` about the lack
of quality players there. So......... hope I have to eat my words now. Regards to all.

Only a point between the sides with 10 minutes to go, but a last minute goal (Brian O'Malley) & a 2 pointer (Ciaran Gaughan) for Bonni helped push them clear on the score-board by the final whistle.

I watched a lot of club football up here in the north East over the weekend.
The superiority of club football in Louth over Meath was starling.

What’s the thinking behind playing junior semi finals next weekend, clashing with senior games. It means Ardagh and Bonniconlon playing 3 weekends in a row.
