It’s another week and a bit until the club Championships within the county get going in earnest. In the meantime there are three Junior club Championship ties on over the coming Bank Holiday weekend which might help to whet appetites for what’s to follow over the next while.

The first of these games takes place on Friday evening, when Killala host Ardagh. Throw-in for this match is 7pm and the ticket link for it is here.

On Saturday evening it’s another North Mayo JFC clash. This one sees Bonniconlon at home to Ballycastle, where throw-in is also 7pm. The ticket link for this game is here.

The third of this weekend’s matches is the Primary Junior C final, in which second-string teams from Kiltane and Swinford face off at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park. This one has a 6.30pm throw-in on Saturday evening and the ticket link for it is here.

Finally, seeing as the club action is about to get underway, those planning on taking in as many games as possible over the coming weeks could do worse than availing of the Mayo GAA Championship Season Pass. This provides admission to all adult and underage club Championship matches played within the county in 2025 and it costs €100, with a reduced rate of €75 for OAPs and students. The purchase link for the pass is here.
