Following their semi-final win over Kildare’s Caragh last Sunday, Crossmolina Deel Rovers are heading to Croke Park this coming Sunday for the All-Ireland Intermediate club football final. They’re up against Ballinderry in this title decider, where throw-in is set for 4.30pm with Tipperary’s Seán Lonergan reffing it.
The final will be broadcast live on TG4 and there’ll also be live radio commentary on Midwest. The ticket link for the final is here.
The Intermediate final is, by the way, the last game in a triple-header at HQ on Sunday, with the Junior hurling final (at 12.30pm) and the Intermediate hurling final (2.30pm) on as well.
We’ll be building up to Crossmolina’s Croke Park decider on the podcast so club members can watch out for new content there in the coming days. We’ll also have a special show on the day from Croke Park.

Athbliain faoi mhaise daoibh uilig.
Good luck to Crossmolina on Sunday.
I listened to Rob Hennelly interview this morning on RTE radio 1 with Oliver Callan. What a great speaker and a legend for the Mayo cause for such a long career.
Míle buíochas Rob agus go neiri leath i gconai!

@ Oileáin Acls….He definitely put in a lot of time. Good on kickouts. Very good on shot stopping but not good at all under a high ball, unfortunately. By all accounts a very popular figure in the dressing room.

Cuala destroying the Connacht champions not even out of first gear . Connacht football is such a poor relation more often than not unfortunately that’s the way it is .

The Canavan boys truly are a joy to watch, not much wrong with football when those lads are playing it, and they will be virtually unmarkable when the new rules come in.
Brilliant first game

Hard to believe that is the first Tyrone team to get to a final and indeed win Ulster.
Enough doom and gloom about our club scene.

Well safe to say Ballina would not have gotten anywhere near Cuala. Con callaghan flying. Definetly would not be writing off the Dubs when he is in form be interesting our game with them in 2 weeks.
Will be a tough final for both teams.

I think Cuala will win the final.
Outside the Canavans no Errigal player scored for 51 minutes.
Cuala have no travel problems.
Will be tight.

Bookies have errigal as favs , not convinced they’ve got this right , Cuala to get the victory for me and I think it will be handier than anyone expects it to be .
