The club championships have reached the business end at all grades so there is plenty to talk about.
Mike is joined by Paddy Finnegan and John Maughan — who was part of the Crossmolina management team again this season — to reflect back on last weekend’s senior and intermediate quarter-final matches and to pick out some some of the main talking points.
Paddy also talks us through the four junior championship quarter-finals that are down for decision this weekend, and predicts the likely winners.
The lads begin the show by reflecting on the news of the passing of Mayo GAA chairman, Séamus Tuohy, and on his legacy to Mayo GAA.

Anyone know when the county senior, intermediate and junior finals are on?

@Borderline: The Fixture List plan (so open to change/delay) is Senior gets a 3 week break from their Semi-Finals (so weekend of the 25th October Final) & Intermediate a 2 week break from their Semi-Finals (so weekend of the 18th October Final). Junior gets a 2 week break too, but with their semi-finals pencilled in a week later that would line them up for the same weekend as the Senior finals (weekend of the 25th).

Sounds like ongoing work there by Electric Skyline for a while yet, but wouldn't be shocked if it was all wrapped up in time for the Finals.

Great credit to the volunteers at Garrymore and Aughamore for their excellent stewarding of the quarter-finals. It was my first time to attend both venues and wow they define what is great about the GAA. This includes farmers making available fields of lush grass for parking.

Liam o Neill brought a real winning approach to Mayo in I think 84/85, followed by John O Mahoney in 89, attention to detail.
John Maughan brought a hard edge to us in 96.
Nice teams win nothing.
We are regarded through out the country as lovely footballers, but now we have an edge,a winner edge.
