It’s semi-finals weekend in the Mayo senior and intermediate club championships and there is no shortage of storylines or talking points.
Mike is joined by Aidan Kilcoyne and Cora Staunton — who coached Ballina Stephenites to three Moclair Cups in a row — to preview next weekend’s games between Breaffy and Castlebar Mitchels and Belmullet and Garrymore.
They also preview and try to predict the outcome of the intermediate semi-final between Ballinrobe and Moy Davitts, as well as reflecting on the likely outcome of Islandeady’s objection to the result of their quarter-final against Kiltane last weekend.
Plus, Aidan and Cora pay tribute to Mayo manager Andy Moran who came off the bench for Ballaghaderreen last weekend and helped to keep them in the senior championship for another season at the expense of Balla.

think a garrymore win would be brilliant, on year of underdog. Not that they playing like a underdog. But can see the winner coming from other semi final. Intermediate a mess, some one in islandeady, kiltane game going to really hard done by. Feel sorry for ref, sure a genuine mistake, but leaves that competition in real problems.
