Our weekend’s coverage of the club championship wraps up with another day of high drama as the remaining places were filled in both the quarter-finals and the relegation play-offs.
Rob and John start the show at Gilmartin Park in Kiltimagh with news of the draw for the quarter-finals and relegation play-offs in the senior and intermediate championships. Staying in Kiltimagh we hear Aidan Kilcoyne’s take on Breaffy’s win over Knockmore and we also hear from Breaffy manager Seán Deane.
Next it’s over to Claremorris where John watched Aghamore get the better of Ballintubber to reach the knockout stages. Nigel Reape gives us his post-match assessment and we also hear from Aghamore’s Fergal Boland.
To round off the show, Rob was at Fr O’Hara Park where Crossmolina were held to a draw by Mayo Gaels. Rob chats with Gordon Manning of the Irish Times and also gets post-match reaction from Mayo Gaels’ Andrew Quinn. We also hear from Kobe McDonald who spoke with James Breheny.

Listening to this and previous podcasts, the buzz word is freedom. How many times has it been said about different teams. Has Andy’s influence filtered down to the club managers. Great if it is.

Nephin, no one has reinvented the wheel, managers have just realised that you have a better chance of scoring if you go forward and shoot. If you don't shoot which was (foolishly) common practice you cannot score!
